According to a report by Antara, von der Leyen highlighted the importance of establishing clear and predictable conditions to maintain the efficient operation of trade and supply chains. Her statement was issued on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Von der Leyen highlighted Europe's ongoing efforts to diversify global trade partnerships, engaging countries that account for 87 percent of global trade.
